Atherton Railway Station
The closest station to Logistics North is Atherton Railway station located south west of the site. From here, frequent direct connections to Manchester Victoria, Wigan and Kirkby (Merseyside) and Southport are provided, and from these stations onward connections to principal destinations such as Leeds, Blackpool and Liverpool can be made.
From Atherton Station a half hourly service to Manchester Victoria is provided which takes around 25 minutes. Further services to Kirkby/Southport (Merseyside) operate hourly, with journeys taking approximately 55 minutes.
Atherton Station benefits from a staffed ticket office, platform shelters and seating, step free access, real time timetable information and payphone services. Furthermore, Atherton train station provides a total of 11 cycle parking facilities, Seven of which are enclosed cycle lockers.
Bolton Railway Station
Bolton Station also provides frequent connections to Manchester, Edinburgh, Preston, Wigan and Blackburn amongst other destinations. The station is mainly served by Northern and TransPennine Express trains. Frequent Northern services connect Manchester to Bolton in 19m, Rochdale to Bolton in 48m and Blackpool to Bolton in 59m. TransPennine Express trains cover the route from Edinburgh to Bolton in 2h 52m.

Cycling from the Station
Railtrack and most train operating companies support commuters taking bikes on trains but you may need to book in advance, especially at peak times. The journey by bike to Logistics North from Atherton Railway station only takes 16 minutes.
